Born into the “Rich Valley” of farmlands and mountain forests where her Scottish immigrant family had settled generations before, Carol and her younger sister, Margaret Elizabeth Noel Williams, considered this a forever home-base to reunite with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
