A ceremony can be an important step in healing whether it’s been a few days or several years.

Our ceremony offerings have been designed by our expert partners at Deathwives and are arranged by our staff or trusted and trained celebrants and home-funeral guides in the community.

Ceremonial Viewing at Be a Tree Cremation

Guests are welcomed in small groups to have meaningful and intimate time with their loved one. Includes dressing or shrouding and up to one hour at our Denver facility. Transportation fees apply if taking place at an off-site location. Additional fees may apply if restorative care is needed.

Witness Cremation

It can be important for some people to see the body of their loved one for a final time. A witness cremation option allows you 15 minutes with the body of your loved one at the Be a Tree Cremation facility as we begin the water cremation cycle to send them off with your blessings.

Celebration of Life

A customized service will be offered by a trained celebrant who will work alongside the family or closest survivors to craft a ceremony that genuinely reflects the spirit of their loved one and honors their life in a personal way.

Assisted Scattering

The logistics of scattering a loved one's ashes in a meaningful location can feel overwhelming. Whether you are able to be present or you are entrusting us from afar, we can transfer the ashes to a specially designed scattering urn, obtain permits if needed, transport and scatter at a designated location, and provide photos and geo-coordinates so you'll know exactly where your loved one is resting.

Home Vigil

An option to keep your loved one at home in the hours after their passing. A trained home vigil guide will provide step-by-step guidance and virtual or hands-on assistance, giving you time for reflection, ceremony, and ritual body care before they are transported into our care.

There are a variety of wonderful spaces to host a memorial service ranging from a place of worship to an outdoor venue. We have several local venues we can collaborate with to suit your vision as we work to co-create the ceremony.
