Victoria “Vicky” Brigitte Martin

Victoria “Vicky” Brigitte Martin, 49, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2025. She was born on August 26, 1976, in Denver, Colorado, to Brigitte Biemel Martin and the late Victoriano Peña Martin.
Vicky grew up in Jefferson County, where she and her sisters were proud members of the Westernaires, a youth riding organization that sparked her lifelong love of horses. She was happiest in the company of animals and found comfort and companionship in caring for them throughout her life.
A graduate of MSU Denver, Vicky built a career as a Registered Dietician, working with patients and developing her own private practice. She was intelligent, independent, and had a sharp wit that made her unforgettable. She loved books, music, and lively conversation, and she met the world with equal measures of humor and honesty.
Above all, Vicky loved her daughter, Elliana who was her heart — the one constant source of pride, joy, and purpose in her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Elliana Martin; her mother, Brigitte Biemel Martin; her sisters, Alicia Hurd (Larry), Camilla Martin, Kristina Mundy, her brother, Victoriano “Tony” Martin (Erika), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Victoriano Peña Martin.
A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1985 Miller Street, Lakewood, Colorado, on Wednesday, November 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Placement of the urn will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, 80033, in the Ascension Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Vicky’s memory to a local animal shelter or mental health organization of your choice.
Vicky will be remembered for her intelligence, her humor, her love of animals, and her fierce, searching spirit that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
