Cremation Memorial Trees

A living memorial that closes the circle of life and provides a meaningful, and even spiritual, place to visit.

Together we will…

1. Choose a location for the tree

  • Private property

  • Designated memorial locations (please ask our staff for more information & pricing)

2. Complete your tree consultation

An arborist & ceremonialist will visit your property to help you select the species of tree that will have the best chance of thriving for years to come, and to learn a bit more about your loved one in order to honor them in the most loving way.

3. Schedule tree placement

We’ll work with you to schedule a date to plant your tree. Typically this is done between March-May or September-November. A ceremonialist will conduct a brief ceremony on the chosen date during the planting, and you may invite your loved ones to be a part of this special occasion.

4. Attend tree placement

Participating in the planting ceremony is a beautiful way to foster healing. The placement takes 1-2 hours and includes digging the site, placing the ashes or stones with the tree, and placing the sapling into the earth. A ceremonialist will honor your loved one with poems, readings, songs, and/or writing notes to place with the tree.

5. Care for the tree

We’ll provide you with detailed instructions to care for your tree. The arborist will also conduct a follow-up visit around six months after planting to check on the health of your tree. Our team will be available to provide ongoing support and recommendations as you care for the tree for years to come.
