  • Outdoor memorial trees are planted on private property wherever we have permission from the property owner. Typically, this is at a private residence where there is access to water or irrigation. If you don’t have suitable property, the indoor memorial tree may be the best option for you.

  • For outdoor trees, our certified arborists will help you select the right species for your space based on soil, light, and other conditions. For indoor trees, you may choose from either a Weeping Fig or a Norfolk Pine.

  • Yes. A memorial tree can be planted with Water Cremation ashes or fire cremation ashes no matter how old they are.

  • Yes, while we do not offer cremation services for pets, we can plant memorial trees for pets.

  • While the lifespan varies by species, most of the trees we plant are expected to live 50 years or more.

  • While it is unlikely, there are some conditions where the tree does not thrive. When all provided care instructions have been followed, Be a Tree Cremation will replace the tree for up to 2 (two) years at no additional cost to the family.
