Susan Rene Bartlett
April 6, 1960 - March 25, 2026
Susan Rene Bartlett (née Amen) born April 1960 of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of March 25th, 2026 at the age of 65 of natural causes. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and will be remembered fondly for her compassion and gregariousness towards all who she encountered. She served the community as postal clerk in Black Hawk, Idaho Springs, and Dumont from 2011-2019, where she loved to speak with everyone from all walks of life.
She was preceded by her parents Richard and Helen Amen, and is survived by her husband of 39 years Robert Bartlett, sons Joel (Jessica) Bartlett and Michael (Sarah Pultorak) Bartlett, brothers Randy and Rick Amen, and granddaughters Zoey Paul and Teagan Bartlett.
For those who knew Susan, her gift of gab will always be front of mind. But, it was her heart and compassion which set her apart. She was always thinking of those in need and went out of her way to bestow gifts to others, or a helping hand. She was a godly woman whose actions displayed faith and goodwill throughout her life. In Sue's eyes, everyone was deserving of redemption, kindness, and love.
