Sandra Pannell Norton

Sandra (Sandi) P Norton, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully in her home on November 20, 2025 at the age of 79 in Denver, Colorado. She was born on October 19, 1946 in Denver to Hilda and Laurel McNatt.
Sandi was known for kindness to everyone, her infectious laugh, her generosity, and her commitment to her family. She spent her early years in Idaho Springs, Denver, Westminster and then college in Gunnison where she met her husband and the love of her life Dave Norton, and together they raised 2 children.
Throughout her life, Sandi was dedicated to her career with Aurora Public Schools where she worked for almost 33 years. Outside of work, she was passionate about painting, gardening, quality time with her beloved dog, Kirby, and most of all, spending time with her family and many friends. A favorite memory of hers was playing bunco or having lunch with the ladies, and every single family gathering with the ones she loved.
Sandi’s warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on through her children, Tim and Tami, son-in-law Brian; her grandchildren, Brittany, Samantha, Morgan, Tami, Shelby, David, and Matthew; 5 great-grandchildren; and other surviving family members, including her sister, Barb and brother-in-law, Randy, her niece and nephew Shannon and Shea, and her many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, and her best boy Kirby.

A celebration of life will be held at Clement Park in Littleton, Colorado on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The family has reserved park shelters O, P, and Q for Sandi’s celebration.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sandi’s name to the Alzheimer's Association
