Diane Veach Jones

Our dear Mother, Diane Veach Jones, passed on March 22, 2026, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her two children, Brendan (Sara) Jones and Megan (Mark) McDowell; and was a loving grandmother to Cora and Winnie McDowell and MacKinnon Jones. She also leaves behind a lasting legacy of beautiful artwork, world travels, and, most of all, loving family and friends. Her passions and devotion to her craft has helped her grandchildren grow up with a special appreciation for art and nature.

As a dedicated special education teacher, she specialized in helping young children learn vital reading and writing skills. Her passion for art led her to become a certified botanical illustrator through art classes with the Denver Botanic Gardens. A love for travel led her on many amazing adventures to places including Egypt, Japan, Jordan, Germany, Ireland and many more. Diane was also an avid sports fan and loved watching and attending games with family. Diane gifted her family and friends with wonderful memories, and they will continue to cherish and share them for years to come.
