In loving memory of Cindy Guy

Cynthia Guy, 60, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many, found peace on September 30, 2026.  Born in Columbus, Ohio, Cindy lived much of her adult years in her adopted state of Colorado.  Her life was a testament to love, laughter, music and dancing.

Cindy spent over thirty years in the wellness industry, working as a massage therapist in Denver.  She found great joy in making people feel better, whether by providing a healing massage, sharing her favorite music, telling a humorous story, or displaying her incredible collection of photographs of family and her many, many friends. A free spirit, Cindy was happiest when listening to music or dancing the night away at the concerts of her favorite bands, whom she often followed from city to city. Cindy loved everything about the natural world. She loved exploring the rivers and mountains of Colorado and spending time in her garden.  Cindy thrived in her community. She was fiercely devoted to her chosen family of friends and neighbors, who loved her with the same devotion.  Cindy cherished her large birth family and delighted in entertaining her nieces and nephews when they were young by dressing them up in colorful costumes, silly hats and feather boas.  Her joyous, free spirit was infectious and will always be remembered.

Preceded in death by her father Richard (Dick) Guy, Cindy is survived by her mother, Claudia Lauer (Mark Harris), sisters, Juli Guy, Jenni Belford (David), Andrea Aliaga (Roger Adams) and Catie Bean (Chris), many nieces and nephews including Alejandra Aliaga, Will, Sarah, Emma and Charlie Belford, Stella Guy Warren, Bodhi Guy Healey, KC Mitchell (Bren Sutter), great nieces Claudia Pumphrey and Nora Mitchell.  Relatives Mike Guy (Rosanne), David Warren and honorary sister Christine Metz Andrus. She will be dearly missed by her partner and friend of twenty years, Brent Hubbard, and beloved dogs, Ruby Pearl and Lulu.
