Rachelle Christina Reid

December 4, 1975 - September 16, 2026

Rachelle Reid will live on in the memory of the many close friends whom she left behind. Her generosity, kindness, open-heartedness, and optimism preceded her, and left the hearts and souls of those she knew brighter, warmer, and better than before.

The specifics of her story would shock and amaze anyone. Adopted in Colorado by the Reid family of Colorado Springs, she traveled Central America, Canada, Hawaii, and much of the continental United States. Rachelle survived many hardships, including 20 years of fighting cancer, but loved her way through every difficulty. She will be known and remembered for her resplendent tenacity; for her love of all that lives; for the joy of a friendship we all knew.

Rachelle is survived by her mother, Carolyn, and has passed on to join her father and brother, Russel Peter Reid and Russel Conrad Reid, respectively.

Her cremation took place in Denver, CO, on Monday, September 28th, 2026.
