Anthony Carl “Tony” Vitello

January 11, 1953 - September 17, 2025

Anthony Carl "Tony” Vitello, 72, passed away on September 17, 2025, in his hometown of Denver, Colorado.

Born on January 11, 1953, in Denver, Tony was the cherished son of Eugene and Labonne Vitello, both now deceased. A proud graduate with a degree in Culinary Arts, Tony's passion for cooking was matched only by his love for his dogs. His kitchen was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the rich aromas of his creations— true extensions of his generous and kind-hearted spirit.

Tony will be remembered by those who loved him for his caring nature and his unmistakable sense of humor, sometimes describing himself as a "spicy meatball." He was incredibly loving, always quick to lend a helping hand or make someone smile with his wit. Loved by many who considered him to be a part of Corrinne Natividad’s family.

He is survived by his partner, Corrinne Natividad; siblings Diana Ballard, Barbara Steugart, Nicchi Unruh, Rosemary French, Gene Vitello, and Christine Hixon, 13 nieces and nephews as well as 20 great nieces and nephews; and his beloved step-children, Anthony Natividad, Charles Natividad, Justine Natividad, and Carlitos Natividad. Though he did not seek the spotlight in civic life, Tony's kindness and generosity touched everyone around him.

Tony's legacy lives on in his family, his culinary creations, and the many hearts he warmed throughout his life.
