Marlene Waite

Marlene Waite, age 90, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. Born in McPherson, Kansas on February 28, 1935, Marlene lived a life marked by humor, devotion, and quiet strength.
She spent most of her professional life as a Court Reporter, a career that reflected her sharp mind and meticulous nature. But beyond her work, Marlene was known for her quick wit, her deep love for her family, and her unwavering affection for the many dogs who shared her journey.
She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Waite and Connie Lovato; her son-in-law, Stephen Lovato; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her legacy lives on in the laughter she inspired, the love she gave, and the memories cherished by those who knew her.
A celebration of Marlene’s life will be announced once details are finalized.
