Sally A. Brown

October 24, 1950 - June 17, 2025

On June 17th, 2025, Sally Ann Brown passed away from advanced Alzheimer's disease in her bed in the company of her sister, Elizabeth Anderson, her brother-in-law, James Anderson, and her son, William Brown. She was 74 years old and is survived by her only son, her sister, her brother, Willard Gene Woolford, her stepbrothers, Scott Malmgren and Bruce Arnold, and her stepsister, Brenda Arnold.

Sally was the middle child of Delores Arnold and Willard Woolford. She began her career in live event ticketing, working for Feyline Concerts, then Select-a-Seat, Datatix, TicketMaster, and Kroenke Sports & Entertainment. Sally’s husband, Thomas Brown, died in 1987, and she raised her son while working long hours in the hectic live events business with the help of her extended family. She was her son's business partner in his venture to build a film career, producing two short films and a feature-length film. Many of her son's friends called her "Mom" because she brought them into her home as if they were family and loved them as her own. Sally retired from Kroenke with a storied career, one that left her with a glowing reputation throughout the ticketing industry and everyone who worked with her. Like her son's friends, many of those coworkers embraced Sally as family and a mentor.

During the pandemic in 2020, Sally began to show symptoms of dementia from Alzheimer's. She struggled with the disease for many years until she passed away from her illness. Even as her disease was at its zenith, Sally continued to touch people's lives with her warmth, her smile, and the love and care that she held in her heart. Shortly after the moment of her passing, it began to rain as if the whole world grieved the passing of this warm and loving soul. Sally will be dearly missed by everyone whose life she touched.
