Stacy Houston Brewer
May 19, 1989 - January 24, 2026
Stacy Brewer, 36, local to Denver, Colorado, and a native to Memphis, Tennessee, ran into the arms of Jesus and was lovingly reunited with her Dad in Heaven on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family that loves her dearly, after three and a half months of fighting for her life following an unexpected injury. The hole left without her presence is massive, and while we are deeply shocked and heartbroken, we are not without hope—hope of being reunited with her again in Heaven one day and faith in the Lord to carry us through.
Stacy was born on May 19, 1989, to Charlie and Cynthia Brewer of Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Memphis in 2012 with a degree in political science and gained many treasured experiences while studying abroad in Spain during her senior year. She later completed her MBA at Christian Brothers University in 2015. Though she never initially intended to enter into the medical field, Stacy found herself working with a startup medical device company in Denver, providing marketing strategies, and ultimately worked her way into medical device sales. This began a hard-working 12-plus-year career in medical device sales and in true Stacy fashion, she excelled in every way. Throughout her dedicated career, she worked for Medtronic, Cordis and most recently, Terumo. In an often intimidating field, Stacy exuded confidence and strength and quickly gained trust and respect. She spent long hours studying and consistently went above and beyond to provide the best care for patients, as well as unwavering support for the physicians and colleagues she worked alongside.
Aside from her many professional achievements, Stacy’s two greatest treasures were her loving husband and best friend, Brian Pilkinton, and their three-year-old daughter, Charli Pilkinton. Dating since 2012 and married in 2019, Brian and Stacy have been inseparable since the moment they met. There was no Brian without Stacy and no Stacy without Brian. Though their time together was cut far too short, they lived out the depths of life and love together that many do not get the privilege of experiencing. Brian, although deeply heartbroken, will forever cherish the memories they shared. Stacy as a mother was an amazing thing to witness. She was patient, loving, kind, a wonderful communicator and teacher, and so playful. Charli was her world, and the love Stacy had for her was unsurpassed. Charli brought joy to Stacy in ways that only Charli could do.
Stacy is survived by her loving husband, Brian Pilkinton, and their three-year-old daughter, Charli Pilkinton, who both will always treasure the gift of Stacy. She also leaves behind her loving mother, Cynthia Brewer; a brother, Johnny Sears; her cherished sister, Lauren (Tony) Wright, who will forever deeply miss her presence; her nieces, Haisley and Wrenley Wright, who adored her; and her Uncle Steve and Aunt Robin. Furthermore, she leaves behind her father-in-law, Mark (Sherry)Pilkinton, and mother-in-law, Nan (Tommy) Miller; brothers-in-law Rev. Andrew Raffanti; Trey (Chelsea) Raffanti; Austin Pilkinton; Brett (Emily) Pilkinton; TJ (Danielle) Miller, and sisters-in-law Marie (Graham) Hunter and Julia (Bailey) Landreth, along with countless other nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends whom she loved dearly.
Stacy was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Maxwell Brewer Jr., and her grandparents, Charlie and Vera Brewer, and Gus and Dorothy Comella.
Stacy was all things funny, with an amazing laugh that will be deeply missed. She was hard-working, determined, smart, full of life, adventurous, talented, a champion for the underdog, outspoken, silly and spunky in the best of ways and never met a stranger. Although small, she was mighty, with a force to be reckoned with. A piece of our hearts will forever be broken until we reunite in Heaven.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Prayers are deeply needed and welcomed as we learn how to navigate life without our Stacy.
