Some people come into our lives leave footprints on our hearts and we are changed forever.

In loving memory-

Born -Youngstown, OH / Attended -Liberty High class of 1977

Nick is preceded in death by his parents Alfonso Garcia and Rosemary Ligotti both of Youngstown, OH

He departed unexpectedly and will be greatly missed by family left behind.

  • Son -Nicolas Garcia II of Brookfield, OH

  • Brother -Ramon (Melika) Garcia of Youngstown, OH – Raymond Garcia (nephew) Salena Cook and Dalila Goss (nieces).

  • Aunt -Donna Rich of Hubbard, OH, and a host of cousins.

  • His longtime partner -Celeste Monroe- Grand Junction (children) Daniel Miles and Lisa (Josh)Bond, – Ari, Bella, Echoe and Nico (grandchildren). 

  • His beloved dog -Invader Zim.

Nick was a Technology Manager at American Church Envelope in Youngstown, OH- 1992-2014 -when they closed, he retired and moved to Grand Junction, CO.

He was a loving father, brother, and friend.

Nick was a sweet and gentle soul with a kind heart, always willing to help people. He loved music -he had a passion and talent for playing guitar.  His dream was to Quit Work Play Music. He played in the “Gunny Grand Strings Band” with friends in G.J.

Nick’s favorite hobby was gardening and he grew a variety of beautiful plants. His favorite pastimes were sitting around campfires (even in winter), stargazing, and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed rafting and target shooting. He loved to watch eagles and hummingbirds.  For him, there was nothing better than enjoying a bowl of Breyers Chocolate Ice cream at night while watching old Sci-Fi movies or Hogan’s Heroes. 

Nick will forever be in our hearts.

Eternal love- your family.

Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.
